Our Wi-Fi Blocks - How They Work

All of our blocks are made of solid wood, we have offered Oak wood blocks in the past but currently offer Cherry wood blocks.


All of our wood is sourced from local retailers.

 Each block has a laser engraved QR code and a custom image in the middle, this allows some personalisation in each block and allows iPhones to get the Wi-Fi information they need 

 Each block has a NFC chip embedded in the wood, this enbables Android phones to natively connect to the block which gives the phone the details to connect to the given Wi-Fi 

Its actually really easy!

If you are using an iPhone or an iPad you simply open your camera applicaiton and make sure the whole QR code can be seen, once it recgonises the QR code a notification will pop up, simply tap that then tap connect, done!

If you are using an Android device, ensure your NFC function is enabled, and then place the phone over the middle of the block, once the device has connected to the NFC chip inside, it will ask you if you would like to connect, tap connect and you are done!
